designer / florist / grower
Kate spent her earliest years in the lush fields of the English countryside and now calls the golden hills of Northern California home. As a journalist and writer, she’s drawn to the language of flowers and their central role in our most sacred rituals and ceremonies. She is committed to sustainable floristry practices and currently learning flower farming alongside her mother, a garden photographer. She also writes a weekly newsletter, “Making Sense” where she interviews artists about the power of the senses, and makes them a bouquet based on their sensory inspirations.
